Summer Scallops

I’m just going to put this out there, this is one of my favorite outfits I think I’ve ever posted. It’s so simple and so me. Lots of navy and white, a cable knit sweater, a little monogramming, and scallops for the win.
I bought the skort on a whim. I tend to wear a lot of shorts during the summer and kind of neglect my skirts. I think this skort might just break me out of the habit. It’s a good basic, without being boring.
Also, it’s been really kind chilly here in NYC. Miserably rainy/drizzly/misty and chilly, if not downright cold. Thankfully I love a good cable knit sweater. I was dying for a white white cable knit and searched just about everywhere before finding this one. It’s perfect for these cooler days when I still want to have a summery look.

PS That skort comes in the cutest summery print if you want something a bit more fun!

This outfit is so perfectly color coordinated! I love everything about the skirt, from the scallops to the subtle texture. I used to wear skorts every so often when I was younger. I have to say that skorts have gotten much more stylish since then! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey's

I have this skirt in Red Right Return and I love it! I tend to forget about skirts a lot too!
