Summer Reading List

One of my favorite things about summer is finding a lazy, warm afternoon to curl up with a good book. I always overpack books when heading on trips imagining hours and hours where I can read light page-turners.
Last year I put together a summer reading list and still recommend all those books! I wanted to update the list to include some new books this summer. I don’t like recommending books that I haven’t read yet, so these are all books I’ve read over the past year and think would be for great summer reading. (To stay up to date with what I’m currently reading, you can follow me on Goodreads.)

I just finished Luckiest Girl Alive and loved it! One of those books that I couldn't put down, which is the best feeling. I just started the Nest- it seems everyone is reading it now so we will see if it lives up to the name! All The Light We Cannot See is also on my list.

Thank you, thank you! I've been struggling getting back on the reading train post-college, and need a good variety of options to keep me interested!

I work at a library. And I've seen all of these books fly off the shelves. There's a lot of people who would rather borrow the books. And it's so hard for them to get their hands on these books. Great recommendations!

"All the Light We Cannot See" was my summer reading last year, and I absolutely loved it! Highly recommend to everyone. 🙂 I've been reading "Deep South" this summer.

I love your book suggestions! It's one of my goals to read more this summer, so I'll definitely have to read some of these!

It's like you read my mind! I came to your page hoping to find some book recommendations for my sort-of cross-country drive (Florida to Wisconsin) and just downloaded the Everybody Rise eBook and Eight Hundred Grapes on audiobook!

OKAY so the Ice Twins. I started reading that a few months ago and switched off. Found it a bit confusing…is it worth me carrying on?! I don't like giving up on books but really didn't get along with the start of this one!!

Would be really interested to know what you think!
