Cute Backpacks for School, Work, and Fun

I’ve been carrying my Longchamp backpack a lot lately. It’s just big enough for an iPad, a camera, and my phone. Basically, just the essentials I need while I’m out and about. There’s something so convenient about having a backpack over a handbag; it makes life so much easier just to toss everything in and be hands-free. (Plus it’s easier on my back when it gets a little heavier!)

I rounded up a few really great looking backpacks. Some would work for school (like the Kate Spade bow one, which also comes in a gorgeous hot pink) and others are perfect for travel (like the satchel backpack) and others are a great option for work (like this leather backpack that fits a laptop).

None of these backpacks would look like you’re off to kindergarden– they’re chic!

Hamilton on Broadway

I’ve been dying to go to Hamilton, you know, along with the rest of the world. I’ve been low-key searching for a good time to go, but couldn’t find a good night between the dogs, my schedule, planned trips, and Garrett’s work schedule. BUT, I was in the city this past weekend taking over The SmartFlyer’s Instagram…

How to Get a Good Night’s Sleep

More often than not, by the end of the day, I’m downright exhausted. I feel like I could fall asleep as I brush my teeth, and on really extreme days, I feel like I could rest my head on my dinner plate for a little snooze. I change into pajamas, slip into bed, try to close my…

Tools for Vlogging

I have had so much fun making videos for my Youtube channel. It’s something that I have wanted to do for a while and would occasionally dip my toes into. A little over a month ago I decided to challenge myself to doing a new video every week. I honestly love it. The filming part is…

Indiana Roadtrip

Garrett’s good friend from college got married last weekend and we road-tripped out there to help them celebrate. I love Indiana. So many of my favorite people have ties to the state. After visiting last summer, I have been counting down the days when we could return. There’s so much I love about Indiana– like the…

On My Radar

Ah! So much to say this week, I don’t even know where to start. But I’ll start with something I’m excited about. The response to my post about homesickness was amazing– thank you guys so much for reaching out and letting me know you love it! After I had published it, the emails switched to “how…

Blue and White Striped Off the Shoulder

When I saw this top, I knew I had to have it. It doesn’t matter that we have a few short weeks left of “official” summer. It’s a great look-alike option for the crazy expensive Tibi top and it’s still cheaper than the $78 Free People version too.
Off the Shoulder Top (under $60!) // White Jeans // Red Flats (c/o, on sale!) // Striped Clutch // Similar Necklace // Lip Color “Oui, Monsiuer!” (c/o)

Dealing with Homesickness

The emails have already started… Homesickness is settling in. To be honest, when I think about new freshman heading off to college, I start to get emotional! It’s no secret that my first few months at school were a challenge. I personally spiraled pretty quickly to my lowest of lows and it all, I think,…

My Morning Routine with Keurig®

I’m so excited to be partnering with Keurig® for this post since you know I love a good cup of coffee. I got a Keurig® brewing system for my birthday right at the beginning of my senior year of college. Having a Keurig® in my room made such a difference for late night studying– I…
