While my daily uniform isn’t as extreme as wearing the exact same thing (or same color) every day, but I have a routine when getting dressed. Unless I have something where I need to get dressed up, my everyday outfit generally looks a little bit like this:
Plaid Trench Coat // Tippi Sweater // Skinny Jeans // d’Orsay Flats
Seriously, if you see me over the next few weeks, there’s a strong possibility I’ll be wearing something that looks a lot like this. A coat with an interesting twist (way better than a basic one), a simple and flattering sweater (this one can be dressed up or down, layered, and even tucked into skirts without bulk), my favorite worn-in jeans, and cute flats (have I mentioned how much I’m loving this spring weather?).
Do you have a winter go-to uniform?
This is basically my go to outfit also! Although with colder weather here in Nebraska I tend to wear my Hunter boots or riding boots instead of flats. Love the coat, such a great look!

Waaait, what, spring weather already? It’s only starting to get colder here in Hong Kong…
I do have a winter uniform! I wrote about it in a blog post: http://charmainenyw.com/lazy-winter-fashion/

I love having a daily uniform (mine’s quite similar but more black) especially for work. It’s made my life so much easier

My daily uniform would be basically the same thing, only add a puffy vest and a plaid shirt under the sweater. Here in the Midwest layers are key for survival in the winter! 🙂

My go-to winter outfit is definitely jeans, a sweater (or v-neck and long cardigan), boots and my Canada Goose jacket, plus a hat, mittens and scarf! I’m so over the cold!
I love fun coats like that and how you styled it!

4 days out of the week I have to wear a t-shirt to work, so Fridays are my fun day-and yet I still end up in a uniform! Either skinny jeans or leggings (I love the athleisure trend more than I can say) with a slightly oversized sweater or a button down on the warmer days, and black or cognac Sam Edelman boots. It was on your recommendation I got my first pair of SE flats, and I am hooked! 🙂
This is my favorite type of outfit to wear in the winter, simple yet cute!

I really want to be able to simplify my wardrobe in this way, but I find I’m either over the top trendy (because let’s face it I love it) or super casual (jeans and a tee). I need help in this department. How do you ladies combine comfort with fashion?
It’s a wonderful, comfortable, yet polished look! That coat is practically perfection!
My go-to winter outfit is definitely insulated tights, a dress, a cardigan, a necklace and pearl earrings, a winter jacket, and snow boots. Vermont is hard, especially for people who love dresses like I do.
