Last week was a bit of a mess for me. I felt like I couldn’t come up for air with everything going on and I was so grateful to wake up on Sunday feeling a little refreshed and ready for a new week.
LAST WEEK’S WIN: The biggest win for me is a little superficial and fluffy, but I took a bit of a personal day in the middle of the week. I had had a few extremely late nights working after the boys had gone to bed and just needed to clear my head. Usually when I take time off with childcare, it’s to do something productive like going to a doctor’s appointment, shopping for groceries, or getting things done at home like organizing or laundry. I let myself just go to the mall for absolutely no reason other than to walk around aimlessly without children. I got a coffee, I just walked up and down the entire mall just getting inspired by the holiday displays and letting my mind wander. It was glorious.
THIS WEEK’S GOAL: Bake, bake, and bake! I’m really enjoying baking bread and want to find even more time to try some new recipes. Maybe it’s the fact that it’s still so warm in November, but I’m just craving creating some cozy vibes and baking feels like just thing to do.
Here’s what I wore last week:
TUESDAY
Gymnastics with Rory
Cardigan (c/o)
Glasses (c/o)
Love the cozy looks and glad you got to take time for yourself!
