I usually shy pretty far away from color. Maybe I’ll reach for something fun if I’m attending a special event. For everyday life though? The simpler the better.
Except… right now I’m gravitating towards color much more than normal. It’s gotten to the point where it feels very out of character. When I open my closet now, I hardly recognize it and in a way, honestly, I get a little intimidated by what I see. I want to wear color and I’m feeling great while wearing it, but there is just something so easy about wearing the same types of things in the same color palette.
The more I think about it though, maybe a big part of it is that I just want to blend in and not draw attention to myself? This could be totally dumb and totally not what has been happening*. It’s not like I’m choosing to wear colors now so that people do notice me now. But maybe I’m just less afraid of being seen?! Who knows. Just something I’ve been thinking about.
I am obsessed with these sandals. Margaux can do no wrong. I think I want to invest in a black pair next because they’re just so good. Use their size chart to figure out the right fit. I find they’re always spot on with their sizing recommendations.

I’m also trying to push myself to wear colors I’m now drawn to instead of my usual navy, white, black because, while bright colors make me happy, they also make me stand out. Given how fun and lovely that pink and white combination is, it’s worth a little more attention!

Can 100% relate to this! As someone who used to view neutrals as more dressy – I’m retraining myself to now think of colors as dressy! It takes a bit more effort, but then I find myself putting more thought into what I’m wearing and it shows!

Love all the pink on you and I’ve been seeing it a lot out and about! Snagged a pink linen top on sale the other day and I’m excited to wear it! Also I work as a flight attendant and I’ve seen some women wear pink on the plane recently and it brought me so much joy in between all the normal black and neutrals!
