LAST MINUTE FATHER’S DAY GIFTS

Men can be notoriously difficult to shop for, and if you’ve waited until now to start shopping for Father’s Day, I can’t blame you! I’m still always surprised and impressed by the assortment Amazon has available for two day shipping (this is what I bought in May!) and wanted to share some of my favorite picks for Father’s Day. Warning: A lot of these last minute Father’s Day gifts ended up being food related, I think because Mike loves to cook so much….

I feel like everyone has raved about the Ooni pizza oven and I wouldn’t mind joining the club, ha! That and the Blackstone griddle make meals so much more experiential for the whole family, and I think that’s super rewarding for dads who like to cook. Speaking of which, I love “upgrading” ingredients with products people wouldn’t normally buy for themselves, like Red Clay hot sauce and Brightland olive oil. Mike is already pretty comfortable in the kitchen (remember his homemade chicken and rice soup?!) but for those less established this book on the chemistry of cooking would make a cool Father’s Day gift!

Another “category” of dads is the techies. There’s a lot of portable bluetooth speakers out there, but this one has best in class sound quality and of course I love how attractive it is compared to others. I’ll admit I added the eye massager to this list of last minute Father’s Day gifts because I’m intrigued…. the compression, vibration, and built-in heating pads and speakers? Genius. And while I come from an AirPod family but I’ve heard amazing things about the wireless noise-canceling over-ear Beats headphones.

It may seem lame, but things like running shoes and beanies can make some of the best Father’s Day gifts. I can’t think of a single golfer (Mike included!) who wouldn’t be thrilled with a putting green in their office. YETI coolers are the best of the best, and this soft-sided one would be great for the beach, picnics, outdoor concerts, etc. And finally, something a little more unexpected for the more social dads– a polaroid camera! I know we all have iPhones but there’s something so fun and satisfying about an old fashioned Polaroid.
