ON MY RADAR 8.30.24

I’m looking forward to a nice long weekend! Lots of changes hitting our family next week with preschool and daycare. It will be a big week for everyone, so I’m soaking up the last bit of summer (and getting the last of the daycare supplies labeled and organized). Hope everyone has a happy weekend!

Here’s what has been on my radar this week:

ONE // Short Barn Coat

I saw this short barn coat (shown above) online when the new arrivals hit the site. I wasn’t sure if I would like a short version of the barn jacket I already know and love. I was in the mall the other day picking up a birthday present for someone and I parked near J. Crew so I popped in quickly to peek at the new arrivals in person. OMG. The coat is even better in person? Love it!

TWO // Plaid Collarless Jacket

Someone sent me a link to this collarless jacket (and matching skirt) and it is majorly giving Annie James-vibes. Love this kind of matching set for office-friendly looks this fall too. Wear with cream and brown accessories now and then switch to black this winter to get even more use out of it.

THREE // Charleston Home Tour

love almost every home Architectural Digest shares. Sometimes the homes are gorgeous and I just drool over them even if they aren’t a home I would necessarily want to live in. Well, this Charleston house tour is one I would 100% move into tomorrow. Every detail is stunning.

FOUR // Floral Blouse

Clearly I am feeling the fall vibes right now while shopping. This blouse looks like everything I’m looking for in good wearable fall pieces. Buttons for nursing, great autumnal colors, and a breezy look (because let’s face it, sometimes fall days are actually pretty warm).

FIVE // Savory Zucchini Cornbread Loaf

I love zucchini bread. I love cornbread. So it seems only natural that I would love this savory zucchini cornbread loaf. It’s also a great way to use up all that in-season zucchini we have in our gardens! Here’s the full recipe!
