Here’s what we’ve been up to the last four weeks (whoops skipped a couple!) according to my camera roll!
I bought a bunch of old issues of Martha Stewart living last fall and one of my favorite things to do is to kick off the month by flipping through the magazines to get inspired! As great as the actual articles are (projects! inspiration! tips!) I also am very into the old advertisements, too!
So much Mahjong, so little time. My friend hosted our group recently and I brought little bags of candy salad. It was such an easy thing to whip up… highly recommend. I downloaded these tile graphics from Etsy and will be customizing everything in my life now 😉
My boys love cooking with their dada! Somehow they both fit onto the kitchen tower. I actually can’t believe Rory is old enough to climb up there and “help” now too.
THIS ROBE! This is like a luxury hotel robe. Cozy. Oversized. Soft. I love wrapping myself in it after a shower to get ready or throwing on over my pajamas on chilly mornings when I’m putzing around the house.
We didn’t have plans one weekend and took a spontaneous trip to the zoo. It was quite cold and overcast, but it was a blast. Both boys are at such fun ages to take it all in.
The Manucurist nail polish is worth the hype. In this stage of life, I’ve been skipping nail polish altogether because I just didn’t have time for the maintenance. Well, this is changing the game for me. It elevates my nails just a bit, but works with my lifestyle. Even if it chips or grows out, it’s barely noticeable.
So. Many. Wagon. Rides. The wagon makes walks around the neighborhood more of an adventure. A win/win for everyone!
I shared this on my IG story, but couldn’t resist sharing it here too. It’s so Missoni… minus the price tag!
Jack’s class has “studies” every six weeks and they just completed their clothing study. He brought home this sewing project and wow, it made me a happy mama!
We stayed home for Easter and had a great time as a family. We did all the Easter activities, including egg dyeing. I couldn’t remember the last time I dyed eggs! I saw this “cool whip” technique on TikTok and can confirm that it works great! I didn’t have the right dye at home so next year I’ll retry with gel dye and see if we get even better results.
Hallelujah my sourdough starter is very, very happy that the weather is warming up. My bread has never been better! When I started my ~sourdough journey~ it was warm out, so I was having no issues with rises (starter and dough!) and then as we went further into winter, it was taking forever (I’m talking almost an entire day!!!!) to get the dough and starter to properly rise. Woof! I may just be a warm weather sourdough baker 🤣
Cumulus sent me one of their cold brew machines to test out and wow, it’s awesome. I haven’t done a full review yet, since I just got it. I will say, my first impression is that I would probably only get this is if you exclusively drink cold brew/nitro cold brew/iced lattes. My SIL is the ideal customer– she loves cold brew! While large, it’s sleek. It’s kind of shocking how it comes out cold and really nice that you don’t have to worry about espresso or coffee watering down from melted ice.
Found a home for my Riley Sheehey motherhood print! I had it framed and looooove how it turned out.
Jane Pope sent me a kit to make fingerprint charms for a necklace. These are the boys little thumbprints. I cannot handle how sweet and special this is– I will cherish it forever.
Rory and Teddy have become quite the dynamic duo. The two of them crack me up all day, every day!
These are some of my favorite posts! Have a great weekend!

Hi! Fellow sourdough lover here 🙂 Have you tried this type of warmer in the winter months for a rise? We live near the beach so the humidity and air temp is often a challenge in the chillier months – https://www.williams-sonoma.com/products/raisenne-dough-riser/ – my husband got for me one year and it works really well
