Happy Friday! My mom is coming into town this weekend for a few days. Excited to have her here and to do some fun things with the boys. Hoping for some nice spring weather to enjoy, too!
ONE // When Did You Feel Like Yourself After Kids?
I liked this post from Cup Of Jo–and the comments on the post. It’s a question I’ve been asking myself a lot lately! I do know that I’m forever changed and will never be the same version of myself that I was before having kids, but wouldn’t I constantly evolve anyway? I don’t see it as a bad thing! With that said, I really don’t start feeling like “me” until my babies are weaned. I thought I would never feel like myself with Jack and then he weaned and I was like, “Oh hi! I’m me again!” and then I got pregnant again and pregnant again and I lost myself again a little bit… Now that I’m weaning Rory, I’m starting to feel myself again and it’s quite a relief to know I’m still in there.

If you haven’t taken a peek at Mark and Graham’s website lately, I highly recommend perusing for a bit. I’m obsessed with everything!! So many cute items for gifting, sprucing up your tables for the new season, and accessories for yourself. A few of my favorites: sport ceramic appetizer plates, Sanderson 3-in-1 game set, and pickleball serving platter.

Loved this piece on Mahjong–it was circulating in the mahjong groups I’m in! It dives into the history of the game, where it comes from, when it came to the United States, and why it captures the attention of new generations.
FOUR // First Look at Étoile
Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino’s latest show Étoile is almost here. I absolutely loved Bunheads (and Gilmore Girls, duh) so I’ve been counting down the days to the premier of their latest show on the ballet world. It looks SO good based on this exclusive first look in Vanity Fair!!!! Fingers crossed.
FIVE // Blue & White Doen Dress
This dress is at the top of my wishlist. I love all of Doen’s dresses–so feminine and flattering. Every time I put one on, I feel like the best version of myself. I don’t know if I’ll be able to resist this gorgeous blue and white floral dress once warmer temps are here to stay…
