ON MY RADAR 5.2.25

These are cute for loungingJack and I are heading on a special (quick) trip just the two of us! I’ve traveled with just him a bunch (when he didn’t take a bottle he came with me everywhere), but it has been a couple of years. I’m excited to have a little Eloise at the Plaza moment with him.

Here’s what’s been on my radar this week:

ONE // Gap x DOEN Collab

Gap and Doen have done it again! They’re back this year with another collection and, dare I say it, it’s better than the first! So many cute items and the pieces are a bit more affordable than the Doen pieces we know and love. I got an unexpected package from them this week so I was able to try on a few of the items from the collection– obsessed! (I had some DMs about sizing and I think it fits a little small. Personally I would size up if you’re in between or like a little more length or roominess.)

TWO // Crudités Platter

I think it’s the warmer weather, but I’m craving crunchy vegetables like you wouldn’t believe! I am also trying to get more comfortable hosting. It’s a muscle I really have to work. This is going to be my new go-to thing to put together when people are coming over or if I’m heading to a friends’ house. Simple, easy, pretty, and healthy!!

THREE // Boxer Shorts

How do we feel about the boxer shorts trend? Honestly I’m on the fence… but maybe into it?! I’m ~boxer shorts curious~. These are cute for lounging if nothing else and would be cute over a bathing suit even! And I really love the idea of cute shorts with an oversized sweatshirt for pajamas/loungewear.

FOUR // How to Read More

Very into this Substack newsletter from Becca Freeman. She has practical tips for reading more that I 100% stand by myself too! People ask me how I read a lot and one of the first things I ask is… are you reading books you like? It’s easy to read books when you’re excited to read them.

FIVE // Poplin Skirt

I found THE perfect cotton poplin skirt. I’ve been looking high and low for a reasonably priced white poplin skirt that was in stock. I found this one from Amazon and decided to try it on a whim. Worst case, I’d return it. Turns out, it’s actually… perfect?! The perfect length. It’s lined. There are pockets. It’s full but not overwhelmingly full. AND it’s an amazing price!! I loved it so much that I ordered it in navy as well.

Look forward to this post every week! Would love a post on ways to style the white skirt- I can’t seem to get mine quite right with the proportions…

There are so many fun links this week. I think boxer shorts are good for lounging around, but I, too, am on the fence about going out of the house with them!
