BEST PLANNERS

Back to school season means new planner editions are here! A lot of options– including a lot of the best planners here– are undated now, which I think is definitely the right move. (The amount of old planners sitting in warehouses or being thrown out…. I don’t even want to know.) Even though I haven’t properly used a planner in a while, I know a lot of people who still do, which I’m all for! Honestly, filling out an actual agenda is still more satisfying to me than a calendar or project management software. Plus, there’s a ton of fun ones nowadays that make the practice even more engaging and productive.

THE SKINNY CONFIDENTIAL // RIFLE PAPER CO // RUSSEL + HAZEL

ANTHROPOLOGIE // DAY DESIGNER // CLEVER FOX

The Simplified Planner is, well, simple. It doesn’t try to be anything fancy– but it’s still attractive. If you prefer to-do lists over hour-by-hour schedules, this is the best weekly planner for you. I’m REALLY impressed by the Full Focus Planner, which features comprehensive goal setting and accountability. One of the best daily planners, for sure. New York-era Carly would have been obsessed. Papier designs some amazing paper goods and I just love how this planner is bare bones but beautiful.

I couldn’t resist adding this cheeky planner from The Skinny Confidential. It’d be perfect for someone who thrives off being grounded each day or is still developing a morning routine. Actually, it’d be an awesome planner for moms. A 17-month calendar is harder to find than a 12-month calendar, and this Rifle Paper Co planner gets bonus points for being so stunning!! Does anyone remember my Russel + Hazel planner from the good ole days? They’re still in production and I still love the customization of different inserts. I originally went metallic gold, but if I got a new one today, I’d go for the bone vegan leather. It’s très chic!

This modern one from Anthropologie is another 17-month calendar and I think the minimalist interior lends itself well to using it for to-do lists vs. schedules. The cover of this Day Designer is SO pretty and the goal setting here is great– a little less intense than the Full Focus one. The Clever Fox Planner is the least aesthetic of all of these, BUT it’s developed a cult following for its goal-setting and productivity features specifically. So definitely worth a look!

Love these! I’d also be incredibly interested in a digital version of this post, I’ve been using Zinnia, and while I don’t have any complaints, would love some other options such as these for my ipad!
