HOSPITAL BAG CHECKLIST AS A SECOND TIME MOM

I felt a burst of energy and filmed a Reel with my hospital bag checklist this time around as a second time mom. Before I had Jack, I personally found the lists by “seasoned” moms to be the most helpful– they’d already been through delivery at least once and packed more simply after. Even though I feel like I kept things pretty minimal, the bag still got filled quite quickly! Ultimately I’d rather have something I want/need than wish I had it, but I still didn’t feel overwhelmed by the amount of stuff.

(Here’s what I packed the first time around.)

Having these really helped keep everything organized. If I needed something, it was easy to ask Mike to grab a certain pouch instead of fishing around in the tote for loose items.

Packing Cubes

Seersucker Cosmetic Pouch

Makeup Bag

Similar Small Pouch

SOO excited for you!!!!! I’m not usually so genuinely excited for people on the internet but I am for you! You are going to do amazing and this baby boy is so lucky to have you and an amazing big brother! The brotherly bond is so special as you know from having your sister.

I remember bringing the baby book so they could put the footprints in? Not sure if this is still a thing.

Consider this as a post idea: pros and cons of having a summer vs. winter baby. There’s obviously no “best time” to have a baby, but curious to know subjectively & objectively what you liked and disliked about having babies during opposite seasons. Best of luck as you reach your due date. xx
