SPRING WEDDING OUTFITS

After posting about the best little white dresses last week, it only made sense to follow up with spring wedding guest dresses! Formal events are few and far between for me and Mike, but I always look forward to the opportunity to translate my style into a wedding theme. (Side note– has anyone else noticed wedding dress codes getting more and more specific? While I don’t think they’re always practical for guests, I’m actually here for it. Just tell me what you want me to wear so I pick the right dress!!)

I love the kelly green for spring wedding season! Outside of a wedding, if I would definitely consider wearing this on date nights or to a garden party. Instead of going for traditional statement earrings like I normally would I decided pick something more classic that’s still larger in size. Also, is that bag not *made* for an outdoor wedding?! Usually I can’t resist the urge to monogram something, which you can do with it, but I really don’t think it’s necessary.

I’m typically not one for bold colors, but between the rainbow necklace and botanical bag, this feels like a quintessential spring wedding guest outfit. Depending on the type of wedding you have– the pleated tulle does create a more formal look– I think this could also be a beautiful option for bridesmaid dresses. The jewel tones here are speaking to me, but it’s available in eight other colors as well!!

This, to me, is a perfect wedding guest dress. I’m a sucker for a floral print, and blue, and midi dresses… so that makes sense. I’m surprised (in a good way!) by the price point on this– it feels very reasonable for the design and rave reviews. Also, I’ve been looking forward to incorporating more bright colors into my wardrobe for spring, and while the yellow handbag is such a small detail, it’s also an unexpected “pop” for my style! Between that and the earrings, I tried to aim for more simple accessories so the floral dress shines.
