Glossier

I’ve so jumped aboard the Glossier bandwagon. I wanted to believe that it was all hype, but, alas, it is not. I’m reporting back here today to let you know that I’m straight up obsessed. I received my first order about two weeks ago and I’m already plotting to see what products to pick up next.

I got the lipstick (in “crush”) because I’ve been trying to wear more lip color, but I find regular lipstick to be so high maintenance. I’m a chapstick kind of girl so this lipstick is right up my alley. The description alone is what originally sold me: “Diffused, sheer matte goodness—just swipe it on. No liner, no blotting, no YouTube tutorial necessary.” Bam.

Then I got this concealer (in “light”). I have to say, I’m most impressed with this. I tend to shy away from concealer because I feel like it makes me look yellow-y or cake-y or the whole situation is just made worse. But this is sheer, in the right way, and full coverage, in the right way. It’s almost like magic.

I love that they offer a skincare set (Phase 1) and a makeup set (Phase 2). Had I known how much I’d love the products, I would have just ordered the starter kits from the get go.

PS Spend some time poking around the website. I honestly think they did the very best job possible. I especially love the about page!

I have been a huge fan of Glossier for quite some time, the best part I think is their pink bubblewrapped bags that everything comes in! They are fanastic for travel, I save them and put my makeup in them when I’m on the go, they are one of the best parts of the whole experience in my opinion! I also just bought a terry headband from them to wash my makeup off at night and it’s seriously changed my life. I have bangs so washing my face used to be such a chore to bobby pin everything back, and now it’s a pleasure 🙂 Thanks for sharing your Glossier favorites, I think I’m going to have to give their concealer a try!

I purchased both kits a few months ago and it’s the first time in my life I’ve stuck to a makeup routine. So simple. I’m definitely going to try more of their products.

I highly recommend boy brow and the like lipstick. I personally love the face wash because it is the only one I’ve ever used that doesn’t irritate my skin. I have to use toner to get stubborn makeup off, so it might not be for everyone, but with my sensitive skin the extra step is well worth the lack of hives

Hope you’re having a great Wednesday! And thanks for all the tips and responding to your readers, like me, so quickly when we email or chat. I always appreciate it!

Their Balm Dot Com is hands down the best chapstick/salve I’ve ever tried. I love the coconut one for the light, tropical smell. It really makes chapped lips disappear within minutes. The best!

I have been dying to try Glossier, but haven’t pulled the trigger. I really had no idea how it was which was kind of why I was hesitant, but after this rave review I’ll finally have to do it!
