Statement Jumpsuit

I love the idea of a jumpsuit. I try them on all the time and they usually fall short. Literally. I have such a long torso that most jumpsuits simply do not work. (There have been more than a handful that I can’t even get up and over my shoulders!) It doesn’t stop me from trying though.

I decided to try this J. Crew jumpsuit in the bright red and, oh, it’s a perfect fit. I think they did such a great job creating a silhouette that would fit plenty of body types including…. long torsos! The wide legs are also really fun and cute. The first time I wore this, I went to a lunch event in the West Village and I consulted my friends via text beforehand if I could even pull this off. I was apprehensive inside my apartment, but totally was feeling myself when I was out and about.

The red is unfortunately sold out in a lot of colors. (Although I’ve noticed it’s been restocking at random, so I’m wondering if they’re shipping from stores and collecting returns. So keep your eyes peeled.)

Red not your color though? No worries, this jumpsuit is available in even more colors and prints. Which is always a good sign from J. Crew that a silhouette is flying off the shelves:

As for sizing, I think it runs pretty true to size. But if you’re in between sizes, I’d consider going down.
