Gal Meets Glam on Sale

I took these photos over a month ago (🤷🏻‍♀️), but I’m honestly glad I waited to post because the dress I’m wearing is 40% off right now and available in quite a few sizes still.

It’s a Nordstrom exclusive dress and I hadn’t seen it really anywhere except for Nordstrom…. but it totally deserves more airtime. It’s a GREAT and super versatile dress. It’s navy and black which means you can wear navy or black shoes and still match. I bought it knowing that I’d find a time to wear it, yet I wasn’t expecting just how frequently I would find myself reaching for it.

I wore it to a christening with these shoes. I’ve worn it to meetings in the city with simple black ballet flats. I wore it to Carnegie Hall (the best of Broadway!) with black tights and black booties.

Is there anything better than a dress that you can wear all the time and feel your best in??

The fabric is a little heavier than usual, which I absolutely love for winter months and the detailing is really pretty. Almost like a jacquard. I love the velvet detailing around the waist with the double bow, and the slightly puffed sleeves.

Of course, I’m a navy girl through in through. I wanted to mention though that it also comes in a forest green. I tried on the green and ultimately went with the navy, but the green is a fantastic option for holiday parties. The green is just the right hue to feel festive and seasonal.

Again, I want to note that these photos are from early October when bare legs was still an option. The dress looks great with tights though so don’t shy away from the short dress just because it’s cold out now.
