GIFTS FOR BABIES AND CHILDREN

I’m trying to get ahead this year and plan out Christmas presents for Jack. I have to confess that I didn’t get Jack anything for Christmas last year. Leading up to Christmas, it felt weird to get a four month old Christmas gifts, but of course, I was so guilty on Christmas morning for not getting him anything, even if he wouldn’t remember it. I’m not trying to “make up for it” this year, but I want to step up my game a little, haha. I wanted to share a few gift ideas for children and highlight some of  Jack’s favorite toys from this year!

Jack is obsessed with his “busy buggy” right now. It’s such a fun toy and packs a punch. During a recent backyard get together, we put two of ours outside and all the toddlers were lining up for their turn. For older kids, this plasma car is a fun gift with a similar idea. A shape sorter is a classic toy for babies. Jack got one as a hand-me-down and he’s been a fan for months now. He’s finally old enough to push the shapes through the holes. His favorite part is shaking them all out when they’re in. Such a good toy for skill development. I LOVE Melissa & Doug’s toys. They’re so fun and always go the extra mile on the details. I already know Jack will love this play broom set. For a unique gift, a bow subscription from Little Poppy Co. is an adorable gift idea. Finally, these practice toothbrushes and book are a fun way to make brushing teeth a breeze.

That plasma car looks so cool! I’ve never seen one before. Added it to my kids list for the future.

That Pottery Barn rocking animal is a great gift, but my vote would be not to get it monogrammed! Someone gave this to us with our daughter’s name on it, and then when she outgrew it, it took me a while to find another kid with her name to pass it on to!
