AMAZON’S BEST CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS OF 2023

My friend Melissa Smrekar has the most fun Christmas tree tradition of collecting ornaments that represent the year (called a “pledge class”). I’ll admit that I’m not the best Christmas ornament curator – our trees are definitely pretty, but less eclectic – but it’s still SO inspiring. After spending the weekend decking the halls with my mom, I feel more tempted than ever to join in! Any of these Amazon finds would be super cute as on your tree as inexpensive Christmas decor or gifted to others as ornament exchange ornaments. (If any of my friends want to host one this year, I’d be all too happy to attend!)

Amazon Best Christmas Ornaments 2023

NYC TAXI // PASSPORT // SEWING MACHINE

CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE // GINGERBREAD HOUSE // BOW // WATERCOLOR SET

SPODE BELL // LIGHTHOUSE // JUST MARRIED CAR

BEAN BOOT // PICKLEBALL PADDLE // MACARON SET // KITCHENAID MIXER

FIRST CHRISTMAS RATTLE // BLACK LAB (there’s lots of other breeds!) // BOOK STACK

If I were curating my 2023 pledge class of the best Christmas ornaments, I’d scoop up the sewing machine, bow (of course!), pickleball paddle, lighthouse, and book stack, though younger Carly would LOVE the NYC taxi, passport, macaron set, and Bean Boot.

The just married car and first Christmas rattle would make great gifts for obvious reasons, but I think the gingerbread house would be sweet for a new homeowner – or a postgrad putting up their own tree for the first time! I’d give Meesh the Kitchenaid mixer and cookie ornament because she makes the BEST chocolate chip cookies (it’s basically the Tollhouse recipe, but with a cup of Crisco instead of butter). My friend Riley would have to have the watercolor set and I’d definitely get Mike the black lab! He’s wanted one since we bought our house, but two dogs is my limit, haha. I think the Spode bell is classic enough to share with anyone!

So fun! I love making a “pledge class” each year. You’ve rounded up a great bunch here!

I usually buy ornaments to represent the year. I gave birth to our first child on August 12th (two years after Jack exactly!) so we got a baby’s first Christmas one and a turtle because that is her favorite toy. I also can’t resist buying bird or cat ornaments for me or seals for my husband. Merry Christmas!
