ON MY RADAR 8.16.24

What a nice week here in NJ! We kicked things off celebrating Jack’s third birthday and it was everything and then some. Toddlerhood is a full contact sport but oh my gosh is it fun and Rory is a classic second child right now just trying to keep up.

Here’s what has been on my radar this week:

ONE // Toddler Waxed Cotton Coat

H&M has soooo many cute new arrivals for fall for kids. I need to sit down and figure out what the boys need for fall and place an order. The waxed cotton coat is crazy adorable (and it comes in baby sizes as well). And Gap has one for kids this year again too. (Oh and Janie & Jack has a quilted jacket and Chelsea boots in stock, too… Well now I guess I need a whole post dedicated to toddler fall fashion. Stay tuned.)

TWO // Paris 2024 Supermoms

I can’t be the only one sad to see the Olympics go! What a fun couple of weeks. I can’t remember the last time I was this into the Olympics and it, honestly, has me excited for LA’s 2028 games! One thing that really stood out to me was how many moms were competing. I loved seeing it. And especially how inclusive the Olympic village was for moms with dedicated supplies and space for mothers and children. (This wasn’t always the case so it’s a nice change to see.)

THREE // Wishbone Kitchen’s Cookbook for Preorder

Wishbone Kitchen is one of my very favorite accounts to follow on TikTok. I love her! She makes cooking look so fun and I feel like she’s always making things that I actually want to attempt to make (… or at least eat), too. She has a cookbook coming out next year and it’s officially available for preorder. Of course, I preordered my copy!

FOUR // “Little Dreamers” Petite Plume Collection

Petite Plume pajamas are so sweet. I love that they’re gender neutral and look so, so crisp on. (Jack has multiple pairs and calls them his “Polar Express jammies.”) This Little Dreamers collection is adorable and very sweet. Do I get him a late birthday present of the “future firefighter” one?! Tempting…

FIVE // “Anxiety Is Beautiful” Poem

Highly recommend giving this poem by Josi Balka a listen. I was scrolling on TikTok and told myself I would watch just one more video and then turn it off for the night. Of course, this video was the next one to pop up and moved me to tears.
