Waterlogue

Everyone needs to go download Waterlogue. ASAP.
This is the best app ever. I can’t even begin to imagine how long it took to develop, but it has everything a great app needs… Function, beauty, ease of use, and a high addiction factor. It’s truly brilliant. I held off downloading it for a week, but I wish I had downloaded it sooner. I’ve been honestly going through all my photos while taking the subway and throwing on all the filters.
In short, it takes your regular iPhone photos and…. voilà!… turns them into beautiful digitized watercolors. Is it worth the $3? Absolutely.
Some of my favorites:
A little Breakfast at Tiffany’s moment.
An amazing cappuccino from last weekend’s trip to Ladurée
Of course, had to run a photo from our Nantucket trip!
Have you used the app before? Anyone else addicted?

xoxo

So cool! I wish it was available for Android, though! Ah, well, I'll take my new nexus 5 over an iPhone anyway, hopefully they'll make it for Androids soon!:)

When I first started using Photoshop, I loved something that was very similar to that! Other people hated it, but I think it just turns okay pictures into phenomenal pictures!

I am so completely obsessed with this app that I recognized that you had used it the other day for a photo in your post and was just waiting for whole post on it. I 100% agree that it's totally worth the $3 – I think it would be worth a lot more than that! It's fun just to watch the photos being turned into masterpieces, not to mention the gorgeous art it produces!
