A Springy Dress

The second I spotted this dress, I added it to my cart straight away. I couldn’t resist the green floral print and felt like it was the perfect kind of dress to wear into the city for those days with meetings and events.

Old Navy Denim Jacket

The silhouette may be the best I’ve purchased this year. I love how it fits and how it looks and how it feels. It’s comfortable but the drawstring waist gives it just the right amount of cinching. And it’s a flirty length yet still totally appropriate. I have worn this already with flats (to the Met with Meghan) and with these cap-toe slingbacks for a morning event in the city.

We shot the look right before heading over to the event. It wasn’t quite drizzling (more like a mist) and it was pretty chilly so I threw on a denim jacket at the last minute.

Floral Dress

I know it’s a little early to say this, but I think it’s going to be my most worn dress during the summer. I always reach for my easiest dresses to wear when the temps start to rise and this one fits the bill.

I’m hoping they keep bringing this style back in different colors and prints. I do recommend sizing down as it runs pretty big. While there are a few sizes still available in the green floral, it is available in a few more prints right now in more sizes.

Love this dress, the print is so pretty! Are you in Bryant park here? I just got back from NYC and it was one of my favourite spots – looks really similar!

Carly! Is that an engagement ring hanging out on your finger?!?! I’ve been such a cheerleader for you for years and you seem so happy weifh Mike! Hope all your dreams are coming true regardless of what kind of ring that is!

I also find myself reaching for light and comfortable dresses during the warmer summer months. I love the green color on you!

I love how you styled it with the cap toe pumps! The floral is so pretty for spring and summer! Is the fabric of the dress more cotton-y or more of the silky/chiffon-y fabric?
