ACTIVEWEAR

I’m trying to spend as much time as possible outside. Honestly very hard for me in winter when I want to hibernate. Taking Jack on evening walks around the neighborhood has been a great way to clear my mind at the end of the day and get some steps in. Playing pickleball is another great way to get outdoors and a fun activity with friends. I wish I could play every day!

And on days when I can’t get myself to go on a walk outside, I’ve been loving going to the gym and doing the 12-3-30 treadmill workouts– a 12 incline at 3 speed for 30 minutes. I even spontaneously decided to try one of the Peloton programs for running towards the end of last year, and I was shocked at how much I enjoyed it. The classes actually make running fun!

I find new activewear incredibly motivating in the dreary months of winter, so I wanted to share a few of my favorite activewear pieces I love. Addison Bay is one of my favorite places to shop for activewear. They have practical and beautiful workout outfits that work in and out of the gym and are a fun pop of color. Some of my favorites include this pink long sleeve top, these leggings, and I have my eye on this cozy crewneck for my walks. This halter neck Athleta sports bra has been my go-to for years. It’s comfortable, supportive, and a great length. I love wearing it with Lululemon align leggings for peloton rides. Lastly, a comfortable pair of sneakers is essential for me, and this is hands down my favorite pair.

I’m actually looking for new leggings right now so this post is really helpful and perfectly timed! I’m doing 30 days of yoga in January and I think a fun pair of new leggings will make it even more enjoyable!
