All You Need Is a Light Jacket

You know what we’re coming up on?! April 25th aka the perfect date! “It’s not too hot, not too cold. All you need is a light jacket!” I’m hoping that by the time April 25th rolls around all we need really is a light jacket. Fingers crossed!

I’m partnering with Bernardo to share this amazing jacket with you. It’s really perfect for spring (hello April showers), but also for traveling. It doesn’t matter where I’m going, I try to bring a rain jacket with me. They’re the easiest things in the world to pack and even if it doesn’t rain, they can provide an extra layer, especially on a windy day. (I gave this red jacket the ultimate packing test… I shoved it in the bottom of my tote and it came out wrinkle-free. 🙌🏻)

Preppy Red Rain Jacket

This rain jacket is literally perfect for traveling, too, because it’s REVERSIBLE. One issue I have with coats is that I end up feeling like I’m wearing the same thing every day. This one is great because you can go with either the solid red or the stripes and totally mix up your look.

Preppy Rain Jacket

I wanted to shoot the jacket with a super basic outfit that I would absolutely pack and wear while traveling. A simple cable knit sweater, comfortable jeans, and my go-to white sneaks. What I love is how different the outfit looks with the same jacket, just reversed.

I love how the striped detailing still shows when you’re wearing the solid red side.

There’s a cinched waist and you can adjust it even more with the elastic cords for the perfect fit. And each side has pockets… woooo!

The red serves as a great pop of color, another thing to think about if your travel outfits tend to be more neutral (mine end up being either black or navy based). But if you’re more of a navy girl (I feel ya!), it also comes in a solid navy/navy striped option.

This jacket is adorable! So perfect for Spring. I also just bought a pair of Supergas and love them. The only problem is that I can’t really keep mine super clean, is there a way you’ve figured out how to keep yours staying white?

Wash them!!! I put them in a pillowcase, toss into the washer, and air dry! I’ve worn mine SO much and they’re honestly kind of falling apart at this point, but I love them!
