Excuse me while I get a little emo for a minute 😮💨 When I was trying to convince Mike to move to the suburbs, @motherhoodlesstraveled drove me through all the different towns to get a feel for the downtowns and the neighborhoods. I fell in LOVE with Madison. Like it’s right out of central casting. That one day we drove down was a beautiful day- the street was lined with flags, kids were going up and down the sidewalk on scooters and bikes, women walked out of a yoga studio with rolled up mats under the arms. And people were spilling out of the ice shop. I just remember thinking, “okay this is it.” When we bought our house in this dreamy town, I so vividly could picture us walking to the ice cream shop with our kids….. and five years later, here we are. It’s everything I dreamed of, and more.

they start slipping on their own shoes and
sing their favorite songs out of the blue and
Run to the window to watch the garbage truck come by and
Figure out how to get the fridge to spit out ice which is soooo funny and

Make a fishy face and rawr like a dinosaur and neighhhh like a horse and choooo choooo as the train goes by.
