The first five weeks of Rory’s life have truly flown by and now Easter is a week and a half away! It’s the first holiday we’ll be spending with both boys and I can’t believe we’re already crossing off this “milestone.” 🥺 To me, the best Easter basket stuffers are things that they either won’t tire of easily or I’d already be buying for them anyway, like a new swimsuit or pair of pajamas. No Easter basket would be complete without a sweet Easter bunny! Jellycat is one of the “it” stuffed animal brands, and I get why kids love them so much– they’re extra soft and snuggly. This paint by sticker book would be better for an older toddler. Depending on your kid’s fine motor skills it might occupy them for hours independently, or be a fun activity for you to do together! I think dustless chalk is genius and definitely one of the best Easter basket stuffers. The plastic holders make it so you don’t have to get your hands messy while using chalk. I imagine this could be especially great for kids with certain sensory sensitivities.
The Good Egg is such a great kids’ book. It’s incredibly clever and has a meaningful message about perfectionism and mental health that anyone can benefit from! I can’t think of a single toddler who doesn’t have play dough, and this inexpensive set of tools will take their play to the next level. Lake pajamas are a staple in our house, so of course, I couldn’t resist adding a set. I love how the green stripes are springy but not overly thematic.
Summer will be here before we know it, and for us that means a LOT of time by the water. These swim trunks are my absolute favorite and their girls’ swimwear is just as darling. I’m all about sun safety so this matching rashguard one-piece is definitely speaking to me. (Also love everything else they have for kiddos in the powder blue stripe!) Speaking of sun safety: I really appreciate how seriously Babiators takes UV damage, and I’m such a fan of their sunglasses. They’re super bendy so you don’t have to worry about them breaking, but if they do (or they get lost) within one year of purchase, the brand will replace them for free. Who else remembers having the most fun jumping rope when they were little?! A jump rope can be used in countless other creative ways too. Another one of the best Easter basket stuffers that’s more geared toward older toddlers, this card game is truly fun for the WHOLE family!!
