BLUE & WHITE SHIRTDRESS

This dress is absolutely perfect, in my opinion. I love linen dresses and this one is especially beautiful. It’s a little heavier than your typical summer linen, which makes it feel a bit more polished and structured. I love shirtdresses all the time, but they are my workhorses while breastfeeding! I can make most shirts work– I just lift it up– dresses are a little trickier as you need access and buttons are the real MVP. This one just checks all of my boxes– the color, the length, the ruffle detail at the bottom.

When I saw it online, I knew it was the perfect dress to bring to Nantucket. I love packing versatile dresses that can work for everything a day has to offer… shopping in town, slipped into after a day at the beach, or dressed up for a dinner in town.

I saved it for a day of shopping. My friend and I left our toddler boys with our husbands and we ducked away (with Rory in tow) for a day of shopping. It’s a nice treat to go into town without a toddler nowadays. We ducked into every store and I ended up with way more purchases than I planned on making– we were just having too much fun and I got swept up into the moment.

Before we went shopping though, we met up with Georgie for breakfast and then snapped some fun pictures down by the wharf. The ones with Rory are my very favorites!!!
