Here’s what we’ve been up to the past couple of weeks, according to my camera roll!
These huggies are turning into my favorite pair of “fun” earrings. I’m usually just so boring with my earrings on an everyday basis. These feel wearable and not too over the top but a little more visually interesting! (Here are my sunglasses & necklace, by the way!)
We are loving Stocked by Three Owls– originally I started the meal delivery service for the last leg of my pregnancy/immediate postpartum period. It was such a gamechanger for us. After taking a little break this summer, just because our travels were so all over the place, we’re back on the Stocked grind! They gave me a code to share with you too: FROMCARLY15 for 15% off one order. Big, big fans!
I snapped this photo and just couldn’t get over how it looks exactly like how I envisioned motherhood. Of course, there are plenty of elements that I could have never expected or that I had no idea what waited for me ahead. But this? This is is a moment I did dream about!
We were absolutely gutted to say goodbye to Jack’s teachers in his toddler classroom at daycare. Jack was sad, I was sad. I couldn’t even go to the final drop off because I knew I would be an emotional wreck and didn’t want to freak Jack out. (Mike did the drop off!) We gave his teachers a little “goodbye gift” of Dinners & Dishes on us. I can’t take credit for this– I saw it on Instagram!
Ahead of Rory starting daycare and Jack going into a new classroom, I had many things to label. This is my favorite label maker! I have another one that I’ve had for years, but it’s lost in my basement at the moment! Had to order a new one in the meantime because I just love it so much.
Speaking of the boys, they have been getting along so well. I think Jack is realizing that Rory is someone he can have FUN with. A big turning point was Rory sitting up on his own and just being more awake during the day. It also doesn’t hurt that Rory laughs at everything Jack does, which makes it even more fun.
I had a super low key birthday with Mike and the boys. All I asked for was a Stop n Shop cake– it’s just perfect.
WOO! Rory’s needlepoint stocking is finally stitched. I dropped it off at the finisher this week and I’m hoping that it’s finished before Christmas. Fingers crossed!! (PS I made a Reel of the finished canvas….)
Rory had his first Little Gym class. I was so excited to take him because it was something I loved with Jack. I kind of felt like I was doing this for my own entertainment… but OMG Rory was obsessed. He hasn’t really been around other babies– all bigger toddlers and kids. He was so social, it cracked me up.
Mike and I celebrated our fourth wedding anniversary. The past four years have flown by and we’ve also just lived a lot of life in those four years. Wild. We ducked away for lunch and it was the perfect afternoon to sit outside and just enjoy our time!
