DIARY No. 85

Here’s what my last two weeks looked like according to my camera roll.

I got a late start to decorating for fall, but I had so much fun doing it once I got around to it. I went to multiple places trying to get the perfect pumpkin set up (see below for the final look). I used our Joey Wagon (c/o CARLY75 for $75 off) to tote the pumpkins from my car to the porch and thought they looked so cute all piled in.

It was the best having my mom here. I think Jack had a blast showing her some of his favorite things and having a special guest at all of his classes. He is obsessed with balls right now and even though we were at a fun playground with slides and tunnels, all he wanted to do was sit and watch the big boys play.

The best way to kill some time with a toddler in fall? Visit pumpkin patches. Jack can’t get enough of it!

Also resharing our labels for daycare. They are the best! I just refreshed his daycare wardrobe for winter and needed to send in warm clothes for him that fit (growing like a weed!) so I quickly labeled everything with these iron-on labels I got from Etsy. Highly recommend.

Lake sent me this robe and, omg, it’s so cozy. It’s not too heavy, but it’s lined with fleece so it feels like a warm hug on a cold day. I’ve become such a robe snob and this one passes my sniff test!

Our pumpkins!!! I love all the different personalities and our mums (finally!) popped. I love the mix of Cinderella pumpkins with the sugar pumpkins.

I mentioned on Friday how we’re walking no matter the weather and here is proof. I wouldn’t say walking in the rain is my favorite, but it is just so necessary to get out regardless of the weather. We’re all happier when we do!

I shared these books on Instagram. They were a gift from Lalo and I think they are incredibly sweet books. I love the illustrations and the messaging. I try to read at least one every night.

We went to a pickleball court this past weekend to play. I think this is going to be our go-to weekend activity now. I can’t get enough. There are so many courts now around us and Mike’s brother is a pickleball pro so we always have a lot of fun doing drills and games with him.

A close up of the adjustable Amazon belts! You guys are loving them just as much as I do!

Ugh this might just be the most beautiful fall we’ve had in Northern NJ. The lighting has been extra special, I swear!!
