I’m still very much in the fall spirit. I’m just enjoying it so much and I’m not quite ready for winter. (That is despite the turning back of the clocks and the random eighty degree days we’re still having.) My in-laws had a family photoshoot planned for last January, which got canceled due to a torrential rainstorm. It ended up getting rescheduled for October, which I loved because I didn’t have to be eight months pregnant in the photos (lol) and (!!!) Rory would be in the photos. My SIL picked out a color palette and I got to work figuring out what we should wear.
I settled on the Hill House Vivi dress (more sizes here) with tall brown boots. As much as I love the classic nap dress, I think this style is my new favorite. I find it so flattering and super comfortable. I like the length (short but can still move without wardrobe malfunctions) and I’m feeling more comfortable in a puff sleeve than the sleeveless flutter sleeve right now. The navy equestrian toile is just the cherry on top.
These tall boots have been go-tos for a couple of years. I love how they look with skirts and shorter dresses. They are also crazy comfortable.
I made an Instagram story about this pouch and I probably should do a more in depth review. The TLDR though is that it is exactly what I have been looking for. In fact, it has exceeded my expectations and I’m carrying it everywhere. In my tote bags to stay organized and also just on its own. I love the pop of red.
