I’ve notoriously hated Christmas decorations. I never got the idea of lugging down giant Tupperware bins from the attic, standing on ladders and chairs for an entire day (stacked, mind you, precariously on various surfaces around the house) to string, hang, or place holiday decor around… only to take them down about a month later.
Well, Mom, I get it now. I’ve been dreaming about what decorations to put up and where for weeks already. Since Thanksgiving is so late this year, there’s no way I’m going to be able to make it through the end of the month without at least starting to put things up. We may not have most of our house finished, but I’m determined to make our house COZY AND READY FOR THE HOLIDAYS!
I’m sure there will be many places where I splurge, but right now I have my eye on pretty much everything from Anthropologie right now. They kill it every year for the holidays and this year is even better than before, I think! (Or maybe now that I have a basement to store holiday stuff, I’m just seeing things with a whole new lens! Whatever the case, I am here. for. it.
