The window on tartan is fairly short, and I try to make the most of it since it’s one of my favorite holiday prints. Although I tend to hold off on decorating for the holidays until the end of November, I will wear tartan all month long, ha! Sharing some cute tartan pieces that caught my eye starting with this dress I mentioned in an earlier post and want to highlight it again. It would be soooo gorgeous if you have some holiday parties coming up and it’s bump friendly.
Puff Sleeve Red Dress (under $60) // Black Watch Button Up // Red Crew Neck Dress // Blackwatch Collared Dress // Green Button Up // Nap Dress // Heels (under $60) // Stewart Flannel Shirt // Blazer (under $100) // Flats // Red Blouse // Pants // Serape
Wearing a pair of tartan shoes is a nice way to dress for the holiday season without going over the top, and I found two adorable pairs under $100. I’d style these bow tartan heels with a classic black dress for holiday parties and this pair of navy and red tartan flats for everyday wear – they’re an easy way to make any outfit feel a smidge more festive.
I purchased this J.Crew Factory Dress earlier this month and have already been wearing it once a week! It’s a gorgeous silhouette, perfect for the holidays, and under $60. I like that the red is more of an accent/pop on this black wool blend blazer. It’s a fun statement piece for under $100 that can be paired with black pants and a blouse for a festive workwear look.
Styling a tartan button up with jeans and flats is one of my go-to everyday outfits around the holidays. I like the contrasting cuffs on this black watch button up, but you can’t go wrong with a classic stewart tartan flannel. If you prefer a less traditional tartan, this Tuckernuck button up is a great option that you could even get away with wearing past the holidays!
Such a fun holiday print! I love all the ways you styled it!
