This is the best my hair has ever been. I do not have Good Hair™️. In fact, for as long as I can remember I’ve been battling my hair in one way or another. As a baby, I was pretty bald. Then I had curly hair and my mom cut bangs (!!!). In elementary school I had a Karen haircut. At the end of middle school I fried my hair when I discovered The Chi and would wake up before 6am to blow dry and straighten my hair. My hair is going grey. My hair doesn’t like any moisture in the air and is unpredictable.
But now at 35, I’m kind of experiencing my best hair yet due to this regimen which I’ve been tweaking and perfecting for the past couple of years. I say all this to acknowledge that I’m never going to be a hair model, but this is REALLY GOOD for me and I’m happy with it.

Obsessed is an understatement when it comes to mahjong 💜 Spent the afternoon playing with friends and breaking in my gorgeous new set from @ohmymahjong 🙌🏻 Once you start, you get the hype- there’s a reason this game has been passed down through generations. The mix of strategy and luck, the rich history, the social element… it’s the perfect mental workout and the best excuse for quality time with girlfriends. I first met @kristarobertso 11 years ago for brunch at The Smith (it was 2014, okay?), and yesterday, I had the absolute pleasure of getting a sneak peek at @pennylinndesigns’ brand new flagship needlepoint store in Rowayton, CT! 🩵🪡 🌊 The store officially opens this weekend!!
I’ve watched her business, Penny Linn, absolutely take off over the past few years, and it’s been incredible to see her at the forefront of needlepoint’s recent explosion in popularity. The industry has traditionally been a little old-fashioned (and, let’s be honest, sometimes gatekeep-y), but Penny Linn is all about inclusivity, accessibility, and introducing this craft to as many people as possible. I truly believe there’s room for everyone at the needlepoint table… the more stitchers, the better! And Penny Linn embodies that ethos so well.
Whether you’re a seasoned stitcher or have never picked up a canvas in your life, I highly recommend visiting the new Penny Linn flagship. @shihstitches and I drove from Northern NJ, and it was totally worth it. You could easily turn it into a full-day outing! Rowayton is such a charming coastal town, with great spots to explore in the surrounding area.
I’m just so immensely proud of Krista, not only for what she’s doing for the needlepoint community but also just for creating something so special. The store is gorgeous, the selection is incredible (so many canvases and thread options!), and the energy she’s brought to this space is just amazing. I truly couldn’t be more proud of her if I tried!
Just a girl, well-rested after multiple nights of good sleep, loving her new 2025 hobbies (hello, tap & mahjong!)—all while dressed for a February day warm enough to skip the coat! 🙌🏻
When I want to experiment with trends, I try to follow the formula of picking something that’s close to something I would already wear but with a small twist. I am loving this @onequince one piece jumpsuit with a cardigan layered over– it’s a slightly different look than what I would normally go for (leggings and a sweater, for example) so I still feel like myself! #quincepartner
