ONE // It’s International Day of the Girl
Tory Burch puts the spotlight on Girl Rising and shares how you can join the movement. This Huffington Post article shares some of the alarming facts and statistics about girls around the world… reminding us why improving education for girls is so important.
So perfect… I want them all. I’ve been layering sweaters over my pajamas every night if I’m working past 10pm. It’s kind of my new favorite thing. A candle on my desk and a cozy sweater apparently make late nights feel so much more wonderful. I’m really loving this one.
THREE // Baby’s With Chubby Cheeks
I can’t get over this. It’s so absolutely adorable. Babies are seriously cute, but these babies take it to a new level. You have to go look at those cheeks. OMG. I will say… I think they left out Hazel (from my favorite “Mom Blog”).
(PS that’s Hazel… Darling, right?!)
FOUR // Camilyn Beth
This dress pretty much definitely falls under the “must have” category. I need to be fancier and find some fun parties to attend.
FIVE // More Than a Guide
My friend Maxie is the best. I’m in love with her blog and look forward to getting it in my email every time a new post goes up. I love her most recent one and it made me start thinking about who in my life helped shape me to be the person I am! Definitely recommend the latest post (well, all of them really).
What are you reading? Anything I should check out?
xoxo
PS This seems like the first roundup I’ve ever done that doesn’t include a Youtube video! I will say that I’ve recently started watching HBO’s Girls…. Well, I didn’t like it when I was in college, but after living in NYC for a year, I find it so so so much funnier/relevant.
I am in love with Tuckernuck! They are just too perfect! And living in London, I most definitely picked up that Barbour Barrisford sweater. It's one of those that looks even better on – do it!
I have been doing the same with the sweaters and the candles haha something I just love about this time of the year!
I love your style, girly! I was just in Nordstrom's today obsessing over Tory's riding boots and tried desperately to hide my crestfallen disappointment when I was informed that the sales associates couldn't find a single size 11 in anything I'd picked out ;[ (the downside of being 5'11").
And you need to read anything by Alice Hoffman! She wrote Practical Magic — which is more about family ties than the spellbinding studio adaption leads one to believe but an amazingly magical book nonetheless — and you should definitely check out Second Nature. I think you'll love the style; it's got an atmosphere I can't quite describe.

YAY link roundups– something to do this weekend!
I just started re-reading Mindy Kaling's hilarious book, only because I gave one to my best friend and she just started reading it, which made me jealous. It is SO funny, if you're into that sort 😉
Your Friend, Jess
The baby's with chubby checks is my favorite! That dress is darling with the scalloped bottom and buttons! Thanks you for sharing!

Read The Shadow of the Wind as soon as you possibly can. It's a little gothic, but it's also one of the most intricate, beautifully written novels I have ever read.

LOVE that dress. Why does a scalloped hem make everything better?

Glad you're starting to get into "Girls." Truly an awesome show. Lena Dunham is a comedic marvel.
