I bought watercolors a few weeks ago, but I gave up trying to figure it out after about 30 minutes. I put the paint, brushes, and paper away and sort of forgot about it. Yesterday, though, I decided to try it out again.
With my new determination, I set out to recreate some of my favorite Lilly patterns. I was planning on framing my Lilly Shift Dress Notecards, but couldn’t find a frame I liked enough. I pulled the cards out and set out to paint some of the motifs.
I think I’m going to pull some of my favorite dresses and see if I can paint those patterns too!

a little bit of life, a little bit of style, and everything in between.
Your watercolors are lovely!!! Soft, delicate colors you love. You have found a new medium to work with. Keep it up!!!

I love love love!!!! YOU need to scan those images onto your computer and print them and sell them to people! I would totally look into buying the 3rd and 4th ones!
How lovely! I am so not artistically talented.
so pretty, you are talented!
You need to sell those on your etsy! You are so talented!!
So pretty! I love the third one. You should really consider selling them on etsy or something!
These are gorgeous! I am so jealous I cant do anything artistic! Tres fab!
As I read comments of some having no artistic talents, may I remind all of you…talent is inside you someplace…bring it out by trying and go from there. Everyone has talent in some spectrum…yours is maybe somewhere else!!!
