I’m partnering today with J. Crew and, well, you know I’m excited!! This dress was on my summer wishlist for a while. It is such a classic piece that I think my wardrobe was missing. Usually I’m drawn to navy in the summer but I’ve been leaning more towards black!
As much as I love a fun dress with a lot going on (like this block print dress I wear at least once a week!), I gravitate towards basics more than anything else. I feel like this is a dress my mom would have had in the 90s too. Just a simple linen. It’s the perfect length, has pockets (!!!), and has sweet buttons in the back. I also think it’s worth noting that it has straps on the shoulders so you can secure your bra straps. The little details make this dress!!!
Perfect option when it’s 95 degrees and 95% humidity!
I was also happy to add this headband into my collection. I have so many of these turban knot headbands and love the natural texture and frayed edges of this one.

I just got this dress in from J. Crew too and I can’t wait to wear it! I think that the bottoms in the back and the simple silhouette give it a Parisienne vibe that will make this a summer wardrobe staple for years to come!
So lovely on you, but I just can’t get behind linen. Always requires ironing after laundering, and wrinkles immediately. Unless you have some tricks I should know about?

Normally I steer clear of linen because of the wrinkles, but this dress is gorgeous… so tempting! Those buttons on the back are super cute.
