After months and months of dreaming of the Kate Spade Little Minka bag, I finally bought it!!! Gilt (an online flash sale website) was having a Kate Spade sale and the price was just too good to pass up.
I’m so happy. Sometimes waiting really does pay off.
It’s actually a lot bigger than I was expecting, which I’m super happy about. It’s the perfect bag to bring to work when I don’t need my laptop. And it’s a great bag to run errands with in the city. If I have to be on the subway, I need to bring a book, or my nook, or my iPad so that I can read. I have a few canvas totes that I rotate in and out, but I would definitely prefer a nicer handbag sometimes. This is just so perfect.
I got the one in Oyster, just like I had been planning for so long. It’s even better in person. I do love the other colors and prints as well. Now that I know that the shape and size is perfect, I’d totally consider getting another one…. A girl can dream, right?

I invested in the Little Minka in black last summer, and have been in love ever since! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. I carry it seriously everywhere – I love it as a cross body when my hands are full or over the shoulder or arm. Great bag!

Ohh, it's so pretty! For ages I've been using my Longchamp bag for every single day; I love it but I agree, sometimes it's really nice to have something smarter! It'll maybe take me a while longer to splurge that much though 😉

I've been obsessing over the Michael Kors Hamilton handbag and Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac Clutch! 🙂 My boyfriend's mom actually got the Little Minka in the light blue color and it is beautiful. Soft leather and it just looks so cute.
I've lusted over the Michael Kors Hamilton for YEARS, and just last week my boyfriend surprised me with it!! Totally worth the wait and cost, I think!! I LOVE IT!!!
