One of my favorite parts about the weather getting cooler is pulling out my peacoats! I have a black J. Crew one that gets a lot of use. But it’s always fun to throw on a bright colored coat every once and a while.(I’d be cautious getting a coat that you want to wear every day… it must go with all kinds of color combos and you don’t want to get sick of something.)
I LOVE this Old Navy coat. How fabulous is the little ruffling detail? So fun! The J. Crew one is nice too, but at $245, it’s not something that you would probably only wear every once and a while. For $60, however, you could wear the coat once a week (with a tres fab outfit, of course) and not feel guilty. Cost per use is a term used greatly at home.

While I was searching through the MANY pages of skirts, I decided on a black skirt. The black and yellow combo reminded me SO much of Madeline! I loved the books (and cartoons and the movie and the dolls) so so so much.

Too funny: I spent today composing all my fall "looks for less" posts! I don't have mine scheduled to go up until next week though. I even included the ruffle jacket from Old Navy 🙂
