I have determined in recent weeks that if I had the space (read: my apartment is currently bursting at the seams with #stuff), I could potentially have a problem with collecting luggage. It’s a pretty standard graduation gift to get a set of luggage and somehow I missed that memo back in the day. Looking back, it’s such a practical gift and one that you will use for years to come.
Before my trip to Mexico, I ended up braving the Macy’s in Herald Square to pick up a new suitcase. My old one was pretty beat up (I think I’ve had it for 11 years!) and not in the best of shape. My new one has four wheels and is so easy to scoot around… made traveling a breeze. It also was the same dimensions of my old suitcase but a much better layout making packing way more organized. Wish I had made the switch so much sooner. Not to mention… it’s pretty cute.
I’ve rounded up some of my favorite options:
Nylon Printed Carry-On (aka the carryon of my dreams) // Longchamp Carry-On
Do you have a go-to piece of luggage?!

a little bit of life, a little bit of style, and everything in between.
I got new luggage before going to college because I new I would be travelling back and forth so much I would need a big suitcase. In hindsight, I almost wish I went a size smaller because its too big where I can't fill the whole thing otherwise it will go overweight. I much prefer carryons because it just makes traveling easier. I love that floral one. I also really like weekender bags and love the Vera Bradley large duffel bags!

Who knew luggage could be so cute? I didn't think about luggage being an important thing to get before college, but now it seems like a definite must with study abroad, random trips, spring breaks, etc. I'll have to add it to my college packing list when I start getting ready for this fall!

Ahh too true about luggage – very necessary! I love my one big luggage, but when I travel abroad this summer I think I'm going to have to take a carryon backpack – the pack rat in me is crying!

I love that DVF! I actually saw it at TJMaxx for $50. Sadly, it was white and it too small.

I got a new suitcase over winter break. It's really sturdy and I love it! It's plain black, which I like, because that makes it harder to see all the scuff marks, but it also makes it really hard to identify on the carousel! Anyways, loving the spinner trunks! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey's
So many cute luggage options! I tend to want my luggage to be cute but not too cute that way if it gets dinged or damaged while traveling I don't feel horrible. haha

Longchamp is my go to carry on suitcase. I have a matching roller and duffle so it's a perfect set! For my larger pieces, I have always loved Hartmann!

I have a Vera Bradley one! They go on sale at the outlet all the time so you can get them for pretty cheap! They're super sturdy but really cute too!
Anchors and Pearls
I really like the monogrammed one and the pink one! I have never thought about it before, but you are so right, luggage is a very practical grad gift!

Love the Kate Spade one! I recently saw black suitcases with a bright monogram and thought it was so a darling idea (plus you can spot your suitcase in the airport!)

I love the spinner trunk! That looks like really cute to carry around. I will be in need of a new set soon, so I'm really glad you shared about these!
High Heels & Happy Feels
I love the floral option, so cute! I need to invest in some grown-up luggage…my parents gave me a zebra printed set when I graduated several years ago…I'd say it's time for some new ones! Haha!
