CARLY MORE APPLE PICKING

Did we go apple picking again? WE DID. My sister in law and I made it happen with four kids in tow. She was really the miracle worker in getting all three girls to agree to wearing matching outfits 😉 Jack and I rushed over to the orchard after an OBGYN appointment and it was just the best afternoon. We both lost track of time and everyone got home very much past bedtime. I feel like it’s so rare that an outing with toddlers/kids is going so well that you don’t want it to end.

I think it helped that we had gone before so recently for Jack. He was pumped when I woke him up from his nap and told him who we were seeing and what we were doing. When we got to the row of trees, he was ready to go and immediately started filling up his bag with apples. And he wanted to carry the bag all by himself.

Seeing him get excited about things and “get” the activity (versus just bringing a baby around with you….) is just the best and I know it’s only going to get better as he gets older, too.
