I met Sarah, one part of the brother/sister duo behind Harding Lane, this spring while at a trunk show in Connecticut. Garrett and I both have been huge fans of the hats ever since. Garrett wears his almost every day and I have a habit of stealing his from time to time.
Harding Lane recently sent the two of us a big selection of hats. I can’t get enough… Especially the red hat with the dog! I’ve been wearing it every chance I get, including the entire time I was in Cape May. (Wind, mist, and rain don’t mix well with my hair.) I love that the hats are cute and casual, but not overly “sporty.” Aka, they work very well with my comfortable wardrobe!
The company took the time to find a manufacturer that was socially responsible; it is FLA (Fair Labor), WRAP (Worker’s Rights) and SA8000 (Social Accountability) certified. And, taking it one step farther, Harding Lane gives back a portion of their profits to The Trustees of Reservations, an organization dedicated to conservationism in Massachusetts. Bam!
