NEW FRAMEBRIDGE

I have been a customer of Framebridge since their very, very beginning. My first order was in September 2014 to frame some artwork for my NYC apartment! Every time I need something custom framed, I look to Framebridge. Their quality has been amazing since day one, but they have added so many new options (and storefronts!) which only makes the process that much better. (Fun fact: I sent my very first needlepoint project to Framebridge to be framed– it’s the “Home… where someone always runs to greet you” canvas you see in this post!)

I was on their website looking something else up earlier this year when I saw that there was a notice saying a new store in Summit was “coming soon.” This two towns away from us and I’m there at least once a week. SO exciting. I have been collecting things to frame to bring in person for the full experience. Previously I had only sent everything in online, which is also great! I just was curious how in-person would compare.

When I went into the store, I had an idea of exactly what I wanted to do for each print. And then… I talked to their in-store designers and he helped me come up with an even better plan for every piece. He had so many cool ideas and was able to offer me this expert opinion, pulling in different mats and frame combinations I would have never come up with on my own. Truly so fun!

Another nice thing about the store was being able to mix and match the frames on their big work table. I loved seeing everything right in front of me.

Two embroidered birth announcements in navy frames

Indigo Walnut Frame with a clear float

First up, I had these two embroidered birth announcements (gifted by The Bee and Bobbin!) for the boys’ room framed. I knew I wanted them to match and feel timeless. My plan was to do a light natural wood with a basic mat. After playing around with the two pieces and discussing options though, we landed on a navy wood frame so they would pop even more. I also love that he suggested I float mount making it appear a bit more like a shadowbox. True treasures!!

A framed silhouette

I’ve had this silhouette of Jack from Willa Heart (c/o!) sitting on my desk for years waiting to be framed. I’m so glad I waited because Framebridge just came out with striped mats. At first I thought the stripes with stars would be too busy…. or wouldn’t work… but somehow it complemented the starry background just so. Very playful and fun!

Madrid with Burgundy Mini Stripe

And last up, this very special watercolor. My mom painted this of Hamilton after he passed away earlier this year. I absolutely LOVE how this frame turned out. The bright red with the red stripes. Classic and fun and full of personality, just like Hammy.

Beautiful! That watercolor of Hammy is so precious! Does your mom make these on commission?
