Every holiday season I reach a point where I’m just… counting down the days to Christmas. I wish it wasn’t always like this, but that’s just the nature of the beast in my industry! After that, of course, is New Year’s– 2024 has felt a decade long in some ways, so I’m looking forward to a clean slate in 2025. But first, New Year’s Eve outfit ideas!
Feather Trimmed Button Up // High-Waisted Straight Ankle Jeans // Double Pearl Studs // Satin Mini Tote // Silver Mary-Janes
This look takes all the basics and just makes them fancier. While the feather trend isn’t usually for me, I like how they’re fairly short on this button up compared to others. It just makes the shirt more wearable to me. And the mini tote! The satin and sparkle combination is perfect for New Year’s Eve and the price is even better.
Not every New Year’s Eve outfit idea needs to be fancy– some of my favorite years have been when I’ve spent the night in my cozies! Varley designs incredible women’s loungewear, and this sporty half-zip is their best seller. If you’ve ever tried Lululemon’s Align leggings, you know that they’re essentially magic. Their stretch is limitless and they’re SO soft! You guys know how much I’ve been loving Favorite Daughter, and I had to include this baseball cap, which comes in a ton of different color combinations.
Pearl Cable Knit Sweater // Double Pearl Headband // Leather Handbag // Silk Midi Skirt // Rosette Mules
Because black and sequins are usually associated with New Year’s Eve, I basically wanted to do the exact opposite… ivory and pearls! This entire outfit is based around the rosette mules, which instantly brought to mind the iconic Chanel packaging. The cable knit sweater is both cozy and chic, and I think using pearl embellishments in different sizes was a fun touch. Paired with the silk midi skirt, the outfit becomes more tonal.
Love these looks!
I’ll be cozy this year for sure! Thanks for the suggestions!
