ON MY RADAR 6.23.23

Summer is in full swing around here! I actually can’t believe how quickly June is flying by?!? We are all heading to Nantucket next week for a couple of weeks and right now I’m just trying to get all my ducks in a row for the trip. It’s actually nice now that Jack is a bit older– I feel like I don’t need to pack nearly as many “things” as I did when he was a baby for traveling. (Biggest additions right now are his helmet and scooter because there’s no way he’ll go two weeks without it, ha.)

Here’s what has been on my radar this week:

ONE // ChappyWrap x Penguin Young Readers Collection

I was so excited that ChappyWrap asked me to do a campaign for their new collection with Penguin Young Readers. They teamed up to bring two iconic characters from Corduroy and The Little Engine That Could to life on ChappyWrap’s mini blankets. These are our go-to blankets for Jack. The perfect size for kids. Jack brings one in to daycare every week for nap time.

TWO // Baby Shower Gift Idea

How genius is this baby shower gift idea? Honestly I love it so much that I want to make a similar one for Jack. You don’t need a Cricut either– I feel like this is such a simple and brilliant idea. Right now I have little paper boxes that I’ve been storing fun memories in, but I think this would be a more organized long-term solution.

THREE // Blue & White Stripe Pull On Shorts

These blue and white pull on shorts are so cute and comfortable. I bought them to go with this striped shirt for a matching set moment. I am so into the whole vibe– especially for casual summer days. The shorts are perfect to pull on over a bathing suit as a coverup too.

FOUR // New Perfume?

It’s been years since I wore perfume on a daily basis. It used to be part of my routine for getting ready and then the pandemic hit, then I was pregnant, then I had a newborn…. and I just never got back into it. (I would spray some on before date nights, but I totally stopped using it on an everyday basis.) I’ve been wanting to start wearing it again… I actually went to the store and tried a bunch of perfumes and loved Jo Malone’s Jasmine Sambac & Marigold Cologne. The lady sprayed me and told me to wear it all day before I decided… and I loved it. I think I need to go back for it!

FIVE // Champagne Bucket Flower Arrangement

Unfortunately, I do not have much of a green thumb and that extends to floral arrangements too. It’s such a beautiful art, but my attempts pretty much end with just popping some flowers from the grocery store into a vase with fresh water and calling it a day. How striking is this champagne bucket arrangement. It’s so beautiful and I love using a vessel other than a vase!
