Whew it was a hot week here! Nothing crazy to report one way or another… just like a nice summer week at home! We have a nice looking weekend ahead. A friend is coming into town with her little guy and we are hoping for good pond weather. Honestly can’t wait.
Here’s what’s been on my radar this week:
ONE // Ralph Lauren Suite at Wimbledon
Ralph Lauren had a suite set up at Wimbledon this year and it couldn’t be chicer. My dream house would include a cool pool/guest house with a bar for entertaining… and I wouldn’t mind it looking exactly like this! I love Ralph Lauren’s green. (Makes me want to make a trip into the city for a Ralph’s Coffee date!)
TWO // Back to School PJs
I love LAKE pajamas always and forever. They just released a fun crayon print for back to school– I love how subtle and gender neutral the print is. Jack is actually starting a little 2s program this September (🥹) and I feel like he might need a pair of the PJs to celebrate the milestone.
THREE // The Secret to Bakery Muffins
Baking is one of my favorite ways to relax. I rarely have time for it, but when I do, I loooooove whipping something up. After our Nantucket trip, I was inspired to test out a few blueberry muffin recipes (I’ve heard great things about Ritz Carlton’s recipe). Then I watched this TikTok with the secret to making muffins that rival bakery ones… and I need to try!
FOUR // Linen Blend Mini Dress
I ran into my friend in the nail salon the other day and she was wearing the cutest dress! A chic black linen dress. She told me it was Abercrombie…. it is CHIC and darling. I immediately ordered one for myself.
FIVE // 9 Books to Read Next
If you’re in a reading rut and need help picking out your next book, this list could help! Lately I’ve been having the hardest time figuring out my next book. Sometimes my list is a mile long and I don’t know which to choose and other times I’m not in the mood to read anything I’ve bookmarked. Always love referring to a list written by book lovers!!
I’m always on the hunt for new books! Will definitely be looking into that list!

I think the Jordan Marsh blueberry muffin recipe is the best. I have linked the recipe provided directly from the Jordan Marsh baker. https://www.wcvb.com/article/legendary-boston-baker-shares-recipe-techniques-for-making-jordan-marsh-s-blueberry-muffins/8233615 You can watch the video where the baker discusses the recipe. I follow the recipe but I omit the sugar on top (they are sweet enough without added sugar) and I don’t use a blend of bread and pastry flour (only because I don’t have both types of flour on hand). I think the smashed blueberries really add to the flavor and make this a great recipe. If you find a blueberry muffin recipe you think is better, please let us know.
