ON MY RADAR 9.29.23

We have some fun family friendly weekend plans coming up. Last weekend felt like a total wash with non-stop rain, so we are all crossing our fingers we have at least a little bit of good weather.

Here’s what has been on my radar:

ONE // Five Things That Surprised Me About My Divorce

I have loved Joanna’s perspective on all different life stages (I’ve been reading her blog for well over a decade) and she’s entering– and sharing– a new life stage: divorce. In the past few years, I’ve definitely felt the shift of friends go from getting married to the difficult decision of divorce. I thought this post about Joanna’s perspective on divorce was refreshing and encouraging, too. Thought I’d share it if you or your friends are in similar positions.

TWO // Green Croc Embossed Bucket Bag

One of my favorite handbags for fall/winter is available AGAIN. Neely and Chloe’s Bucket Bag (formerly known as the Kettle Bag) is back. It has a top handle and comes with a removable strap, too. The green is my favorite color, it’s so versatile. Highly recommend.

THREE // Kate Davis Design Doll House

This is an unbelievable doll house. Is it even considered a doll house? A house in miniature?! Either way, you have to check out this incredible doll house that Kate Davis Design built and designed. Every. Single. Detail. The craft room is (probably obviously) my favorite. It looks REAL. If you’re in Houston, I think you can get tickets to see all the houses built for the event. So fun!!

FOUR // Bamboo Shades

I saw these scalloped bamboo shades on Pinterest this week and I’m obsessed. I wish I had a location to install these because they’re truly just so cute. I love the scalloped detail paired with the bamboo. The best part is that you can choose between custom sizes and add a blackout option as well. Would be especially cute in a playroom!

FIVE // Mary Frances Carter’s Needlepoint Collection

Set your alarms because Mary Frances Carter’s needlepoint collection is launching tonight! I have a few mugs from her pottery work and I’m thrilled to see her designs transferred into the needlepoint world. I need the porcelain bow needle minder!!! So, so perfect.
