On My Radar

I flew to Nantucket yesterday morning for a girls’ trip with Ashley and then, sadly, flew back home. Something came up and so we decided to postpone the trip. I was thankful for fog-free conditions so each of us could get on our respective flights home problem-free. Can’t really share more, but I didn’t want to leave you guys hanging why I’m all of a sudden back in New Jersey (if you follow along on Instagram).

Draper James MadelineHere’s what has been on my radar this week:

ONE // Big Little Lies Inspired Dress

Reese Witherspoon designed a dress for her line Draper James inspired after the character she plays in Big Little Lies! I loved the book and loved the series on HBO even more!! If you’re familiar with the show, doesn’t the dress seem so Madeline?! Draper James sent me the dress as a gift and it’s gorgeous in person. It’s hard to capture in a photo, but the print is actually embroidered and has a stunning and elevated quality.

TWO // Get More Done With Calendar Blocking

I ditched my paper planner a few years ago and never looked back. (You can see how I organize everything in my life in this older post.) Someone in the Carly the Prepster Facebook group shared a link to this video and I got totally sucked in. I am fascinated about how different people stay organized. This system seems like a little too much for me, but there are still some great takeaways. If you haven’t figured out Google Calendar just yet or need a more versatile and universal planning system, definitely check out this video!

THREE // Gingham OnePiece Bathing Suit

A reader emailed me this gingham one-piece and, while I do not need another bathing suit, I had to share because it’s such a great find! It looks like such a flattering fit and, of course, who can say no to gingham?!

FOUR // Podcast Interview

I did an interview with a blog reader for her podcast a couple of weeks ago and it’s LIVE! I get so nervous doing anything “live,” but I hope you guys find it interesting and/or helpful!

FIVE // Lilly Pulitzer for S’well

I’m not going to lie, I hadn’t planned on promoting the new Lilly S’well bottles because I assumed they would run out of inventory in twenty minutes. I’m so happy to report though that they definitely have enough and there are still bottles available!!! S’well bottles are some of my favorites because they keep cold liquids cold and hot liquids hot. In my attempt to reduce my consumption of plastic (not perfect, but I’m trying!), I’ve been heavily relying on my water bottle collection. I tote mine around as much as possible to stay hydrated (or to get my coffee fix ha!). The Lilly prints this time around are SO flipping cute!

I’m so glad you enjoyed the Calendar Blocking video! I discovered Amy by chance and have been HOOKED on her recent videos about “Living the Life You Want”. I highly recommend them all if you are looking for a litttle motivation and inspiration. Sending good thoughts as you deal with that emergency situation!

Love that cute dress! And man do I prefer a paper calander. Isn’t that funny how we all have our different preferences? I have a major need to write things down and for some reason if it’s not tangible I can’t always remember it. It isn’t as useful when it comes to linking websites, images, or people to certain events or meetings, but it seems to work better for me in terms of remembering. Hope you have a great weekend!
