We had a pretty great week here and looking forward to a nice weekend. We’re hosting friends tomorrow night and then Mike’s parents on Saturday. And we’re doing Easter at our house. I know “busy” has become a bad word, but in the case, I feel “busy” in the very best possible way. I don’t think I’ll take seeing friends and getting together for holidays for granted ever again… This is a kind of busy I will gladly accept!
Here’s what has been on my radar this week:
ONE // Rebekah Lowin on TikTok
I somewhat recently discovered Rebekah Lowin on TikTok and love what she’s doing on there! She creates unbelievably beautiful content around Jewish traditions and holidays. Lots of great inspiration if you are Jewish. She comes up with such beautiful and creative ideas!!
TWO // Riley Sheehey x Framebridge
My talented friend Riley just collaborated with Framebridge for custom mats. Great Mother’s Day gift idea… I might have to get one for myself. She has two mat options, the Clara (a blue and white floral) and the Lila (a square frame with a pink floral print). It’s the first of its kind for Framebridge– I’m biased but they couldn’t have picked a better artist to do this with!!
THREE // Kate Spade’s Tennis New Arrivals
Kate Spade’s new arrivals are all tennis themed and I just can’t get over how charming the whole collection is. It feels very, like, 2008? In the best way possible. I’m really loving what they’re doing. (PS If you’re a bride… they have two gorgeous white dresses that are perfect: this one shoulder bow dress– also comes in black and navy– and this pearl strap dress. BOTH STUNNING.)
FOUR // “All Those Mothers I Have Been”
I’ve been obsessed with reading essays about motherhood lately. This one by Thao Thai for Cup of Jo is very beautiful. Even just being a mother for eight months, I do feel like I’ve been a few “mothers” already… and I’m sure more to come. If you have a favorite essay about motherhood, I’d love to read it– please sent it my way.
FIVE // Mark D. Sikes for Anthropologie
Another great collaboration…. Mark D. Sikes for Anthropologie! There are three prints in this collection: a blue and white windowpane, a blue and white chintz, and a punchy floral. I especially love the table runner and picture frames.
Have the best weekend celebrating Jack’s first Easter! http://www.elspethsdaybyday.com

My favorite motherhood essay…may you relate as your work well into the night!
Would you be able to link to the pearl stapped dress? Sounds beautiful!
Done, sorry about that!
Thank you!
Such a pretty cover photo! Also, love that you mention Mark D Sikes! I love that he is decorating the White House with Jill Biden! 🙂
