This is my favorite Lilly look of all time. We’re not quite ready for summer clothes up here, but I was invited to a press preview for Lilly’s line with Pottery Barn and it called for a bold Lilly look. I wish this skirt came in more patterns because it’s, hands down, my favorite silhouette.
As I walked down the street to get to the event space, a lot of people were doing double takes. It’s funny because in NYC you see all kinds of outfits, but I think this one really caught people’s attention. But once I got to the event? I fit right in! Everyone was decked out in their best Lilly.
Tucking button ups into anything (skirts, shorts, jeans, whatever) is typically a challenge for me. Particularly when it comes to fuller skirts and wide leg pants, I want something more tailored on top. Otherwise, the proportions are off and I typically feel sloppier than I’d like. This shirt is THE BEST for tucking in because it’s super tailored without causing gaping at the buttons– another problem I have with shirts, tucked or not. This one has hidden buttons which gives the shirt the absolute perfect fit and no gaping. Hallelujah!

I feel like the silhouette of this skirt is typical of an evening gown but very unique for the day! This look is totally getting me in the mood for spring! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s
This is my absolute favorite outfit on you!! I have the same issue with tucking in. My torso is also a bit long, so it all sometimes becomes untucked. Why isn’t fashion easier?

Would a bodysuit work well with this skirt? I know you’ve talked about one before.
I went to the PBxLilly pop up but I had to wait a really long time to get in 🙁 Bummed I didn’t get a beach towel but I did order a new comforter 🙂
I love this look! That skirt is such a cute fit, and I haven’t seen it before now. I need!

This is so your outfit! I love the way you rocked this skirt! I don’t think I’d be brave enough to do so!
Yay! I am so glad you finally blogged about this! I have loved every picture of you in this outfit!
That skirt is AMAZING and looks so lovely on you!
This is an incredible look!! I love it so much.
What size do you wear in that button-up shirt? I ask only because I generally always wear the same size tops as you, and have been wanting to buy that shirt for a while. I can’t tell if I should get XS or S based on reviews.
What an absolutely gorgeous skirt! It looks amazing on you.

I love love LOVE this skirt! So much that I bought it but unfortunately the high waist was wayyyy too snug in my normal size and they’re out of stock for all the other sizes so I just have to return this little beauty ::cries::
I bought this Lilly skirt based on your recommendation and can’t wait to wear it, even though I know I won’t look as lovely as you do in it!
Love this outfit- you look beautiful!
