Pretty Bows

While I’m sorting through some personal things right now, I decided to go back to College Prep roots. I’m also speaking at Miami University of Ohio later today, so I wanted to do some… research? Anyway… my second post (ever) was all about how much I love bows. And while I (thankfully) do not wear ribbons in my hair anymore, I do love a good bow still.
(Side note: reading old posts is kind of hilarious.)
I think any of these items could easily make their way onto a wish list. Or maybe just a “made it to the end the week” self present. Because that’s really what I’m thinking/feeling. Oh so many bows, so little time.

I can't say I ever wore bows in high school (I had a diagnosed case of juvenile OCD and wore my hair in a ponytail every single day), however I looked through your J.Crew post a few days ago and LOVE the bow dress. Sadly shift dresses only work on my wide shoulders (great for strapless dresses, horrible for cute necklines and blazers) if they have loose sleeves, however I'm still in love. You are inspiring me to add a bow or two into my wardrobe! Also, remember that each change you go through in life is not only a contribution to your future, but a reflection of your past – follow your instinct and good luck with everything!

Miami University is beautiful! You know they call it "J Crew U", right? It's also where Delta Zeta was founded – I visited for a national conference. Enjoy the pretty campus and cute college town!

I am a bow fanatic! I cheered 4th – 12th grade so bows was apart of everyday life for me! But like you, I don't wear them on my head but I do like bow accessories such earrings, rings, and bows on bags! It's it great to see something you wrote in the past and see how much you mature! I noticed with the journals that I used to keep! Makes you proud!!
